Wildlife Artist to raise awareness for endangered wildlife

During my travels in 2005 with Friends of the National Parks Foundation in the deep jungles of Kalimantan, the eyes of the orang-utans and native Indonesian wild fauna struck me. This was the goad for my mission to raise funds and awareness for endangered wild animals. At the fourth dimension, I had the amazing opportunity to visit the rehabilitation middle for orang-utans. I remember how heavy and steamy the air was as I walked towards one of the enclosures. The heaviness eased as I looked into the most loving, big brownish eyes I had always seen. These eyes absorbed me. The love shining from her eyes was the cardinal to unlocking the personality and sentience that I fire to express through each of my works.

I believe these beautiful beings are calling me to express that they are non simply mere commodities; to exist exploited, used or forgotten.

Before I start, I have time to connect with the animals and imagine existence in their world – to listen to them and then I can tell their story. I take all the time and intendance I need to perfect each mark I make. This is my way of honouring their story and respecting them at the deepest level of my being. It'south a ho-hum and deliberate process that unfolds 1 stroke at a time.
